Imbolc 2010




a bit early but here is 'pink flags in a winter garden'
completed today after looking at the garden with is latest light covering of snow

Very beautiful, I always love the light quality in your paintings!

P.S. My gardening by the moon book says Imbolc is not until the 4th Feb - half way between Solstice and equinox - so confusing - anyway we're celebrating and burning our winter greens on the 6th 'cos it is my birthday!

mmmm...i decided to celebrate today
the full moon (and Mars) looked so lovely last night and an dtoday the sun shone on the new snow
looks like we'll have lots of celebrations :)
