we can't think of a title for this....

Ian's equinox contribution....not quite sure of the link between Japanese Anemones and the equinox...but I seem to remember it was pheasants last equinox and I didn't understand that either :)

I thought a long and complex explanation would just send everyone to sleep! I just hope to produce a positive reactionfrom the viewer and lead them to look twice (at least)...

alternatly I also cannot see a connection?

What about 'The Centre of the Sun' - to link with the centre of the sun being observed to be directly overhead on the two moments of the year that are the equinoxes?

I looked thrice! I think "Wind of Adonis Blood" captures it for me! www.mythencyclopedia.com/Fi.../Flowers-in-Mythology.html for further information! I especially like the transition to pink. Lindsey X

Many thanks Fi & Lindsey, I had a look at the mythencyclopedia site, looks interesting so added it to bookmarks for later (and longer) looking.
Following a conversation with Sally I may be looking into combining all three, naturally I'll post if/when it turns out
